Re: w2600cr corrupted bios update - recovery options?

Did you rename the “Rec.cap” file or updated the BIOS.nsh file?

 

Remember that we need to edit the .cap file to match what the BIOS.nsh is trying to execute or you can open the BIOS.nsh and update the script to match what the name of your .cap file.

 

I am including a screenshot of the changes we might need to consider. In my example, I am going to try to run recovery for version 02.01.0002.

As you can see, the .cap file name does not match with what the BIOS.nsh is trying to execute. At this point, you may consider renaming the .cap file from R02.01.0002Rec.cap into R02.01.0002.cap or you may also consider opening the BIOS.nsh and edit the command from iflash32 /u /ni R02.01.0002.cap into iflash32 /u /ni R02.01.0002Rec.cap

 

If the issue remains, I would recommend contacting Intel Customer Support for proper follow up of your case.
